Energy Industry

Energy producers, grid companies and district-heating providers operate established application landscapes where operational data, commercial workflows and regulatory requirements intersect. A change to one interface can affect many downstream processes. We therefore consider not only the application but also data flows, responsibilities and ongoing operations.

Our work covers business requirements, application development and integration, testing, release planning and migration. Relevant areas include integration platforms, data transfers, workflow automation and the controlled evolution of existing business applications.

We address companies in power generation, open-pit mining, electricity and gas networks, and district heating. Our consultants can work within the client’s project organization; for defined development assignments, our own software teams can take responsibility for delivery and ongoing support.

Banking & Investment Banking

Banks and investment banks process large volumes of business-critical information. Applications must deliver consistent results across complex workflows, make changes traceable and fit established security and governance requirements. Connecting new functionality with long-established core systems is often a central challenge.

We support business units, IT organizations and delivery teams with requirements engineering, bespoke application development, interfaces, data processing, testing, release management and technical migrations. We focus on translating business logic into controlled technical changes.

Typical areas include transaction-related applications, records and data management, reporting, internal workflows and platform integration. Services can be embedded in a client’s project team or delivered through agreed software development and maintenance engagements.

Insurance

Insurers and insurance brokers connect customer service, contract administration, documents and internal approvals across often heterogeneous systems. Data quality and traceability matter as much as efficient workflows for employees and customers.

We help define business requirements, modernize existing applications, integrate interfaces and automate administrative processes. Projects may also involve bespoke software, data migration, quality assurance and testing.

Our approach takes established applications and governance structures into account rather than assuming complete replacement. New capabilities can be introduced incrementally while existing processes continue to operate. The scope is agreed with each client.

Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs)

For small and medium-sized enterprises, specialist business applications often evolve over many years and become closely integrated into everyday processes. We already support companies with software engineering, modernization, integration and ongoing technical maintenance.

Through our AIKI research initiative, we are also exploring a longer-term vision: enabling existing business software to evolve in a controlled way alongside the people who use it. AIKI is a research and development initiative, not a finished product.
